Dr. Anido has served as our President and Chief Executive Officer and on our Board since December 2001.  From June 2000 to September 2001, he was a general partner for Windamere Venture Partners.  From 1996 to 1999, Dr. Anido served as President and Chief Executive Officer for CombiChem, Inc., a private biotechnology company.  From 1993 to 1996, he served as President of the Americas Region of Allergan.  Dr. Anido received a B.S. in Pharmacy from West Virginia University and a PhD. in Pharmacy Administration from the University of Missouri.
In the past five years, Dr. Anido has served as a member of the board of directors of Apria Healthcare, Inc., a public company.  Dr. Anido brings to the board extensive experience in the areas of sales and marketing, business development, equity and debt transactions, and fund raising.
