Vicente Anido Jr., Ph.D.
President and Chief Executive Officer
Vicente Anido, Jr., Ph.D.has served as our President and Chief Executive Officer and on our Board of Directors since December 2001. From June 2000 to September 2001, Dr. Anido was general partner for Windamere Venture Partners. From 1996 to 1999, Dr. Anido served as President and Chief Executive Officer of CombiChem, Inc., a biotechnology company. From 1993 to 1996, he served as President of the Americas Region of Allergan, a specialty pharmaceutical company focusing on ophthalmology, dermatology and neuromuscular indications. Dr. Anido received a Ph.D. in Pharmacy Administration from the University of Missouri. |

Glenn E. Davis
Vice President, Legal and Chief Compliance Officer
With over 35 years experience in the practice of food and drug law, Mr. Davis joined ISTA in March 2009 at Vice President, Legal and Chief Compliance Officer. Previous positions included General Counsel of several divisions of Allergan, as well as working at Syntex. From 1998 to 2008. Mr. Davis was a partner at Kleinfeld, Kaplan & Becker, serving life sciences clients. Mr. Davis also served as Vice Chair of the American Bar Association’s Committee on Food and Drug Law and for 12 years was General Counsel of the Pharmaceutical Marketing Research Group. Mr. Davis earned his JD degree from Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California at Berkeley, and his AB degree from the University of the Pacific, summa cum laude. |

Marvin J. Garrett
Vice President, Regulatory Affairs, Quality & Compliance
As ISTA's vice president of regulatory affairs, quality and compliance, Mr. Garrett works directly with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as well as regulatory authorities of various foreign ministries of health to steer ISTA's products along the path to commercialization. In this role, Mr. Garrett oversees all of ISTA's regulatory activities, and assures adequate compliance and product quality as it pertains to the company's pre-clinical and clinical research, and manufacturing practices. Mr. Garrett has more than 25 years of professional experience in the field of regulatory affairs, clinical development and quality. |

Kathleen McGinley
Vice President, Human Resources & Corporate Services
Ms. McGinley has over 25 years experience as a senior Human Resources executive in both large and small biotech, pharmaceutical, high tech, and manufacturing organizations. Prior to her work at ISTA, she specialized in rapid scale up of staff and infrastructure in high growth companies. At ISTA, she is responsible for the attraction and retention of talented employees, organizational development, compensation and benefits as well as facilities and information technology. Ms McGinley also serves on the Board of the Biotech Employee Development Coalition. |

Kirk McMullin
Vice President, Operations
Mr. McMullin joined ISTA with 24 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, having managed the scale-up and market launch of new products and worked with technologies including ophthalmic solutions, biologics, medical devices, tablets and injectable products. As head of operations at ISTA, Mr. McMullin is responsible for product scale-up, manufacturing validation and quality control at key vendor facilities, management of the manufacturing aspects of the supply chain for clinical and commercial product, and evaluation of the manufacturing aspects of new development opportunities. |

Timothy R. McNamara, Pharm D
Vice President, Clinical Research & Medical Affairs
Dr. McNamara has over 17 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical / Biotechnology industry with increasing levels of responsibility in Medical Affairs at Bristol – Myers Squibb, Searle, and Amgen. He also served as CEO of PRN Inc, a contract research organization. Prior to industry, he spent 8 years in academia including appointments as Associate Professor at the St Louis College of Pharmacy and Sanford University, and Clinical Pharmacist for the Program on Aging at Jewish Hospital and Washington University, School of Medicine, St. Louis. Dr. McNamara joined ISTA as Director, Medical Affairs in November 2004. |

Tom Mitro
Vice President, Sales & Marketing
Mr. Mitro has brought to ISTA more than 22 years' experience in the life sciences industry, with a focus on business development, product acquisitions, and sales and marketing in the branded ophthalmic physician and managed care marketplaces. In his role as ISTA's Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Mr. Mitro is responsible for product strategy and market forecasts and management of the Company's sales and marketing department. |

Lauren Silvernail
Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Corporate Development
During Ms. Silvernail's 20 years of forming, financing and managing growth businesses, she has served as part of founding management teams in financial and other roles, raised capital for emerging companies, and spearheaded pharmaceutical acquisitions and life science product launches. At ISTA, Ms. Silvernail continues to combine her prior corporate and entrepreneurial finance experience with corporate development, being responsible for finance, investor relations and business development. |
